The principal and founder, Nelson Yong, is an avid business development and marketing professional based in Seattle. With 5 years of experience with private wealthy investors, venture capitalists, startup entrepreneurs, attorneys, and other professionals, Nelson is always looking to build others up while working on his next big thing.
Nelson loves having his hands full. Most recently, he was the leading associate for business development and sales for BuddyTV, one of the most popular entertainment-based community websites (with over $6.5M monthly unique visitors). As the Principal and Founder of GravityIdeaLabs, a Seattle-based marketing and image consultancy aimed at Generation-Y, he created BlogYourArteries.com, where he embarks on eating the foods he loves and ranks them.
In 2009 he started HypocriticalAcclaim, a humorous yet straightforward look into some of the movies out in Q4 2009 and onwards. His goal is to bring the meat of the movie to you, not necessarily to summarize the plotlines, but to tell you to either hit it or skip it.
Nelson also has strong experience in marketing and business development, and most previously worked with hundreds of Pacific Northwest investors to fund early-stage startup companies and venture funds.
When he’s not blogging about movies or food, growing the sales of his startup, dreaming of new companies, meeting investors, writing an epic screenplay, making websites, or producing hip hop music– you’ll find him hanging out with friends, driving his roadster, going to church, or working out.
